In 2019 Verona was the fifth province in Italy for manufacturing interchange and during the same year export increased by 0.8%, with a total value of over 11 billions, contributing to about the 18% of the export of the Veneto region. On the other hand, thanks to its strategic geographical position for the Italian market, the province of Verona stands fourth for imports in Italy, right after Milan, Rome and Turin.
